India Fund Fest - 7th Edition
India Fund Fest has grown in reach and depth since its first edition five years ago. It has also expanded into Indonesia with three editions conducted successfully. With each edition we have innovated the platform to provide entrepreneurs ‘an accelerated path to funding’. We continue to curate, select and actively coach not only the entrepreneurs but the aspiring investors as well. Our practical, real-world approach with a philosophy of keeping the platform distraction free from the usual speeches, panel discussions, sellers, sponsors and the just curious; has resonated with our stakeholders. We focus only on the entrepreneur and the investor, and we succeed only if entrepreneurs get funded. This is re‑acted in the increasing number of applicants, partners and overall quality of startups that apply
Process:
1. Registration process, directly via. Website.
2. Screening for Pre-finale - India Fund Fest team set up the screening call with startup founders. The Expert Panel evaluates the companies based on the information shared in the application form & the preliminary screening call & select fundable startups for the Pre-Finale (from pool of over 250 registrations).
3. Pre-finale - The Pre-Finalists are given 5-7 mins to pitch in front of a Jury. The Jury select’s Top 20 Finalists from all the shortlisted Pre-Finalists. These finalists are then coached again for the Finale.
4. Immersive Bootcamp - The startups with good fundability are coached to get Investor Ready through our curated 24-Hours program for them to engage effectively with Investors in the Finale when they pitch in front of the panel to seek funding.
5. Finale - The 20 Finalists, selected by the Jury, (bootcamp & otherwise) gets an opportunity to pitch to the Panel of 10 Investors in the Finale & seek investment for their startups

Traction
76% of the finalists received funding within six months of the finale. More importantly the valuations received outside of the finale, but within six months, were an average of 2.3X of what was asked in the finale. This validates our curation of the companies and the coaching on the valuation. Over the years more than 50,000 companies have applied and we have presented 165 finalists to our investors in India. We recently polled the 165 finalists from the four previous editions of the India Fund Fest. The results were heartening and are as good, if not better than any platform in the world.
